I've ripped many CDs to Windows Media Player in the past, but for some reason
it is no longer able to do so. Every time I try to rip a CD now, it says
that Windows Media Player cannot rip one or more tracks from the CD. I looked
up this error message on microsoft.com and all it said was:

You've encountered error message C00D10D2 while using Windows Media Player.
Additional information is not currently available for this error.

Can anyone help? I'd appreciate it :)

This is what I had to do so it may help you as well as I was getting the
same error code.

In Media Player, go to the drop down under "rip" and select "more options".
Select the Devices tab
Highlight the drive you are using (most likely "E")
Select Properties,
Then make sure the playback option is the same as what is selected in device
manager. I had to change from "analog to digital" rip/playback. Also check
error correction boxThis is what I had to do so it may help you as well as I

Hi Sal........ I tried what you said and low and behold...it worked. One
setting was on Analog and the other on Digital so I made them both
Digital and I'm ripping as we speak. Thank you so much...giuseppe
